The Tourism Skills Network South West were delighted to invite all hospitality, catering, travel and tourism teaching practitioners and Heads of Departments from both Higher Education and Further Education establishments to the first South West Vocational Providers' Conference.

Many colleges and universities joined us on the 11th March at SCAT for this interactive and informative event. Delegates heard updates from industry authorities, explored educational opportunities and met other vocational providers from the South West.

This workshop explored how to meet your own CPD needs ensuring that vocational and subject specialist skills are up to date. Delegates discovered the opportunities available to improve their development relevant to the tourism and hospitality sector. Business Interchange, who aim to create new industry-based placement opportunities, provided the potential information to meet current and future CPD requirements.
